1
What is hydrographic?
Hydrographic, also known as water transfer printing, is a process that allows for the application of intricate designs, patterns, or images onto three-dimensional objects. It involves dipping a printed design onto a specially coated object into a water-based solution. The design adheres to the object's surface, resulting in a seamless and durable finish.
2
What types of surfaces can be coated using hydrographic?
Hydrographic can be applied to a wide range of surfaces, including plastic, metal, wood, ceramic, and more. It is commonly used in automotive customisation, sporting goods, electronics, and industrial applications.
3
What is spray painting?
Spray painting is a method of applying paint to a surface using compressed air to atomise and propel the paint particles onto the surface. It is commonly used for automotive refinishing, furniture painting, and industrial coatings.
4
What is raptor liner?
Raptor liner is a durable polyurethane coating that provides excellent protection against abrasion, corrosion, and impact. It is commonly used for truck bed liners, automotive undercoating, and protective coatings for industrial equipment.
5
How long does the coating process take?
The coating process's duration depends on the project's size and complexity. Generally, hydrographic dipping and spray painting can be completed within a few hours to a day, while raptor liner application may require additional curing time. The bigger the project, the longer the duration. I will provide an estimated duration as part of the quoting process and will call you if there are delays.
6
Are the coatings durable?
Yes, the coatings are highly durable and designed to withstand various environmental conditions, including UV exposure, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. They are engineered to provide long-lasting protection and aesthetic appeal.
7
Can custom designs be applied?
Yes, we specialise in custom designs and can work with clients to create personalised patterns, graphics, or images for their projects. Whether you have a specific design in mind or need assistance developing one, our team can accommodate your needs.
8
Do you offer a warranty on your coatings?
Yes, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship and offer a warranty on our coatings against defects in materials and workmanship. Don't hesitate to contact us for more information on warranty coverage and terms.
9
How long will my project take and can I get progress updates?
Each project is unique, therefore I give an estimate on how long it will take complete based off your agreed scope of works.
I do not provide progress updates, my team is small and they are dedicated to completing the project as quickly as possible. Stopping to take progress photos or talking to clients about how it's going distracts from the task at hand.
If we hit an issue and we require more time, I will contact you directly to discuss.
